Experience Guild Wars 1 with real people!
Guild Wars 1 is a game that's incredibly special to lots of us. So this year, to coincide with the game's 20th anniversary, we are all logging back in to play together!
We'll be playing through the original Prophecies Campaign together over the course of a month, focusing on a different part of the story campaign each week.
There's a Discord server to easily find people to team up with, and there will be Twitch streams you can join, if that's your thing.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or you are stepping into Tyria for the first time, it's the perfect time to experience Guild Wars 1!

If you'd like to participate in Twitch streams, keep an eye on the Discord! Laranity will be streaming at least every Friday and Saturday.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any requirements to join?
You will need a copy of the first GW1 campaign, known as Guild Wars or Guild Wars: Prophecies. If you don't own a copy yet, you can purchase one on Steam or the Official Guild Wars Store. Apart from that, it's just a matter of showing up and playing the game! No prior experience is required.
I am from <region>, can I still participate?
Yes! Guild Wars 1 lets you freely swap your region anytime you are in a city or outpost. For this event, we will be gathering in America English District 1, since that's generally the most active district.
Do I need to make a new character?
We highly encourage you to make a new character for this event. We want to recreate an authentic Guild Wars 1 experience, so you will likely hurt the experience of others by bringing a max level character to low level content. You do not have to start over, but we encourage you to play a level appropriate character.
Are you playing through the other campaigns too?
For this first event we are just playing through the first campaign: Prophecies! If the event is a success, we'd love to do events for other campaigns in the future.
Can I stream or make content about this event?
Of course! This event was put together by Guild Wars 2 streamer Laranity, but we'd love for more content creators to participate. There's a channel where you can share your streams on the Discord server.
